Therapy for High-Performing Professionals Who Can’t Turn Off Work, Perfectionism, or the Pressure to Do More

You’ve built a life around achievement but something feels off.

This practice is designed for professionals who:

  • Are highly driven, analytical, and internally demanding

  • Have difficulty “switching off” from work, even when they try

  • Feel uneasy during downtime or unstructured time

  • Tend to overthink, overwork, or over-refine

  • Struggle to maintain relationships alongside professional demands

  • May identify as neurodivergent or have traits associated with autism or obsessive personality styles

You may function at a high level but feel increasingly constrained by patterns that are hard to change.

Over time, life can become increasingly organized around work, structure, and control. Our lives narrow leading to:

  • Burnout that doesn’t fully resolve even with time off

  • Relationships that feel harder to maintain or secondary to work

  • Difficulty relaxing without feeling unproductive or uneasy

  • A sense that life is becoming more rigid, repetitive, or limited

You may be doing well objectively but experiencing less freedom, flexibility, or enjoyment. My approach is relational, practical, and adapted for people who prefer being understood and challenged over being judged and criticized.

We focus on:

  • Expanding behavioral flexibility

  • Reducing rigid perfectionism

  • Rebalancing work and personal life

  • Improving relational skills in a way that feels natural

The goal is not to eliminate your strengths but to make your life broader, more sustainable, and more satisfying.

This is a private-pay practice. Working outside of insurance allows for greater depth, flexibility, and privacy. It also makes it possible to focus on a highly specific group of clients and tailor our work accordingly.
